In order to claim an indemnity from the Consorcio for damages suffered in road traffic accidents, the documentation that must be provided will vary in accordance with the following:


A. IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT (Insurance contracted through the Consorcio):


Material Damage:


It is important to present the claim as soon as possible and the Consorcio branch, so that a loss adjuster is able to evaluate the damage:


  • Standard claim form.
  • Testimony
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the recipient of the indemnity.
  • Photocopy of the S.O.A. Certificate (Mandatory Motor Insurance)
  • Bank details (20 digits)

Personal injury:


  • Standard claim form.
  • Testimony
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the injured party and of the recipient of the indemnity should it not be the injured party.
  • Bank details (20 digits)
  • Medical-hospital entry/release forms
  • Forensic Doctor's report or, failing this, report from the Health Centre that attended to the patient.

In the event of the death of the victim:


  • Certificate of Last Will and Testament.
  • Testament.
  • In the absence of a Testament, a declaration of heirs or a notarised report.

B. IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT CAUSED BY AN UNINSURED VEHICLE:


Material Damage:


  • Consorcio claim form.
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the affected party or of the recipient of the indemnity should they not be one and the same.
  • Bank details (20 digits).
  • Statement.
  • Estimate of the cost of repairs or invoice.

Personal injury:


  • Consorcio claim form.
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the injured party or of the recipient of the indemnity should they not be one and the same.
  • Bank details (20 digits).
  • Statement.
  • Hospital entry/release forms.
  • Forensic Doctor's report or, failing this, report from the Health Centre that attended to the patient
  • Original sentence or copy authenticated by the Court.

In the event of the death of the victim:


  • Certificate of Last Will and Testament.
  • Testament.
  • In the absence of a Testament, a declaration of heirs or a notarised report.

C. IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT CAUSED BY AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE:


Personal damage:


  • Consorcio claim form.
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the injured party or of the recipient of the indemnity should they not be one and the same.
  • Bank details (20 digits).
  • Copy of documentation from legal proceedings.
  • Forensic/medical report
  • Original sentence or copy authenticated by the Court.

In the event of the death of the victim:


  • Certificate of Last Will and Testament.
  • Testament.
  • In the absence of a Testament, a declaration of heirs or a notarised report.

Material damage:


  • Not covered.

D. IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT CAUSED B A STOLEN VEHICLE:


Material Damage:


  • Consorcio claim form.
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the affected party or of the recipient of the indemnity should they not be one and the same.
  • Bank details (20 digits).
  • Police report advising of the theft.
  • Bulletin testifying to the recovery of the vehicle.
  • Statement
  • Written statement from the other vehicles insurers, rejecting any claim.
  • Estimate of the cost of repairs and/or invoice.

Personal injury:


  • Consorcio claim form.
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the injured party or of the recipient of the indemnity should they not be one and the same.
  • Bank details (20 digits).
  • Police report advising of the theft.

E. IN THE EVENT OF CLAIMS AGAINST COMPANIES BEING LIQUIDATED BY THE CONSORCIO:


Material Damage:


  • Standard claim form.
  • Consorcio claim form.
  • Photocopy of the D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the affected party or of the recipient of the indemnity should they not be one and the same.
  • Bank details (20 digits).
  • Original sentence or authenticated copy of same.
  • Repair invoice that is pending payment by the insurance entity, accrediting the fact that it was presented to same.

Personal injury:


  • Standard claim form.
  • Consorcio claim form.
  • Photocopy del D.N.I. / N.I.F. of the injured party or of the recipient of the indemnity should they not be one and the same.
  • Bank details (20 digits).
  • Report from the health centre that attended the patient.
  • Medical report.
  • Original sentence or authenticated copy of same.
