Environmental risks

From 1st January 1998 the Consorcio forms part of the Spanish Pool of Environmental Risks , a group with an economic interest that started its activities in January 1995. This pool offers reinsurance cover for loss or damage caused by pollution which, necessarily, is produced by accident and at random.

The Consorcio's participation in the Pool and his maximum retention in the current year and the two precedents have been the following:

In the exercise 2010, as it collects in the Annual Report of the Consortium, the prime devengadas corresponding to this coverage rose to 386.000 euros, whereas the provision and expenses paid rose to 1.000 euros.
