The three-year Action Programme prepared by the Consorcio for the period 2011-2013 is based on three strategic objectives with which we hope to highlight the positive contributions that the entity can provide for the Spanish insurance system, playing an active role within the framework of the insurance sector's overall strategy.

Thus, the STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES which reflect the entity's MISSION are as follows:

  1. To contribute to the expansion and development of the Spanish insurance sector, bringing the entity's strategy into line with that of the private insurance sector, which it complements.
  2. To contribute to the stability of the Spanish insurance sector by guaranteeing and protecting the interests of insured parties and by developing actions to promote insurance and risk prevention.
  3. To contribute to improving efficiency in the insurance sector: improvement in the quality of the cover provided, the reduction of costs and greater commitment and corporate responsibility with regard to society as a whole.

To summarise, the Consorcio proposes to actively contribute to the expansion, development, the stability and to improving the efficiency of the Spanish insurance sector, fully implementing the criteria of corporate responsibility and sustainability in its business dealings.
